Comments: One bedroom (14X14) walnut stained hardwood floor that had been carpeted was sanded down to the natural finish and two coats of quick drying sealant applied.
I contacted the company on a Monday, the estimate was done by Tuesday and the work was completed on Friday! Because of their excellent job of sealing off the room, there was very little dust or mess. The odors were minimal as well. We were able to move furniture back into the room on the weekend.

Chicagoland Flooring was not the cheapest nor the most expensive. Just the best. They are a small outfit and provide the best customer service and have outstanding knowledge. We have a 3 year old row house and were concerned about the quality of the installation and matching existing wood floors. Honest and trustful. They were on time, completed in three days, were very neat and I always got an update phone call everyday on the works progress. Great work! Outstanding service and installation. I was told that there would be nicks to our walls and a lot of dust because of some tight quarters. They were very careful and very clean. We had no damage from them and they had to move the wood floors up three flights of narrow freshly painted stairs.

Comments: The Chicagoland Flooring team arrived on time finished in the time frame that was estimated, and the finished product is beautiful. It's like a brand new floor! We had used them before to refinish the original floors in the main part of our house and they did an excellent job. When it came time to remodel the kitchen, we ripped up five layers of linoleum to get to the original maple floor. It looked absolutely beyond repair, just horrendous. I was skeptical that anything could be salvaged. But after expert look at it, within 48 hours we had a beautiful floor. Everyone who visits thinks the floor is brand new when they see it, not 86 years old.

Comments: Chicagoland Flooring was extremely helpful over the phone, providing a prompt estimate for service. Unlike another company I contacted, they did not try to talk me into additional work. In addition, their quote was competitive with other companies I called. They were able to schedule the job the following week and showed up on time, completing the work as described. They offered advice for maintenance and even followed up with an email offering further advice, if needed. After a week and a half, the floor continues to look great.

Comments: Three rooms were stripped and refinished. The floors especially in one room where water damaged and had many screws which had apparently been put in to relieve squeaking. The owner returned my call quickly after my original inquiry and he followed up with a personal visit for an estimate; the work was scheduled for the next week. Workers came when expected, and the owner stopped by to check on the progress and to show me the results of several stains on the stripped wood. I chose wax rather than a varnished finish and the shine did not appear even in the reflected light. His worker came back the following Monday and worked for hours. The owner himself joined them later and worked for hours until it seemed perfect. He is a delightful young man, a pleasure to know and work with.
Chicagoland flooring did a great job on my floors. The owner is a very personable young man who is easy to work with and follows through on what he says. I was lucky enough to meet his wife and young son. The floors are beautiful and the workers were friendly, polite and very respectful. It was a great experience. The fee was reasonable, cleanup was through, and there were no surprises. I definitely would use them again and recommend them wholeheartedly.

The owner was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He made sure we understood all the details of installing new flooring in our house including the possible mess and dust. The workers were prompt and the final product is spectacular. He has also gone out of his way to educate us on the proper care of our floors. I highly recommend his services.

Comments: Installed 300 sq. ft. of new oak flooring in family room and weaved it in with existing floor in adjoining room. Fixed flooring in other rooms where wall removals left open holes. Sanded, stained and finished all hardwood in the house. I can't speak highly enough about Chicagoland Flooring. They did a wonderful job of integrating new floors with existing floors as well as finishing the floors. Very little dust. I would definitely use again, highly recommended!
